Lehigh Valley Hospital‒Pocono Welcomes IndyCar Series Driver, Charlie Kimball to talk about Type 1 Diabetes
Lehigh Valley Hospital‒Pocono (LVH‒Pocono) invites IndyCar Series driver, Charlie Kimball, to talk about living with Type 1 Diabetes and how he works to achieve his racing dreams. LVH‒Pocono physician, Allison Froehlich, will discuss patient care and diabetes management offered at the hospital’s Bartonsville Health Center.
Lehigh Valley Hospital‒Pocono offers Type 1 Diabetes management and educational sessions at the hospital’s Endocrinology Department at the Bartonsville Health Center in Stroudsburg. Patient care includes insulin pump therapy, continuous glucose monitoring sensors, downloadable glucometers and the latest insulin injection treatments, along with one on one diabetic education sessions, in addition to Diabetes Self-Management Classes and Diabetic Support Group Sessions.
