The Greater Pocono Chamber of Commerce is made up of people working together to make our community a better place to live and do business in. Your membership not only entitles you to the Chamber’s services; it gives you the opportunity to participate at many levels.
Chamber networking functions such as Business Card Exchanges, Monthly Breakfasts, and Women in Business luncheons offer members the chance to socialize and develop new business contacts. Our Annual Expo brings nearly 200 businesses and organizations together to showcase their products and services for thousands of community members from all walks of life. Volunteering on a Chamber Committee also gives members the chance to get involved, improve our community and to meet new contacts.
Countries, states and nations are competing for trade, industry, more business and better infrastructure to help them grow and thrive. Your Chamber is a partner in this ongoing competition. As part of the Chamber, you support important efforts to encourage economic development, plan for the future of the Poconos and improve the quality of life in our community.
As the representative of over 1,600 businesses and organizations throughout the Poconos, the Chamber handles hundreds of requests for information from members as well as people interested in learning about the community. The chamber also provides valuable referrals that translate into more business for members. Every Chamber Member is listed in the annual Membership Directory and Buyer’s Guide – a comprehensive resource for both community members and new residents.
In a way, you can view your Chamber membership as "civic rent." Through your membership investment, you support many activities vital to the quality of our community. You also tap into a broad base of support dedicated to promoting new business opportunities.

Benefits of Membership
GPCC offers a variety of services to its members. Many of these services are free, some are discounted and others are priced at rates sufficient to cover the Chamber’s costs. Members are invited to use any and all of the benefits appropriate for their business.
The Chamber maintains professional lists of builders, realtors, restaurants, retailers, etc., which are supplied upon request. We refer only Chamber members.
The Chamber offers consulting services to businesses through our Resource Center and Business Development Specialist. Whether you are just starting out or growing an existing business, the Chamber can help you reach your goals. We assist new or existing businesses with grand openings by conducting a ribbon cutting ceremony, taking a photo and publishing it in the Chamber newsletter.
Each member receives a double listing in this annual directory both alphabetical and by business category. Paid advertisements are also available in this comprehensive community resource.
This list is updated monthly and supplements the annual membership directory. It is available to members upon request. The list can also be purchased on computer disks or labels.

Each member receives a plaque and a decal indicating their support of the community through their investment in the Chamber.
The Chamber’s monthly newsletter "Impact" features news about members, Chamber events, community issues, new businesses and offers low cost advertising. Our newsletter is on line under "NEWS".
